Celebrating Canaltown Days!

The Canaltown Days Parade will take place on Saturday, September 14, 2024. This parade will begin promptly at 4:00pm. You should plan to be at the staging site at the Fairgrounds/Stafford St. at least one hour prior to step off. The parade travels a one- and one-half mile route through the village of Palmyra.

In order to verify that your group will be attending our parade, and for us to accurately introduce your group as it passes the reviewing stand, we ask that you download the Announcement Form. Please return this form either through email attachment or regular mail. We cannot accept forms the day of the parade, so please return the form as soon as possible

When we have received confirmation and the announcement form, we will send parade instructions by email. In an effort to cut down on the cost of postage and being environmentally conscious, we do appreciate maintaining electronic communication as much as possible. If you would like to enter a float into the parade to publicize your organization, please see our Float Info on the CTD website for details printed there. There will be a judging of military Color Guards at the reviewing stand.

Prizes will be awarded immediately following the parade. (You must pick them up, they will not be sent to you.). Again, please return your Canaltown Days announcement form as soon as possible to ensure your spot in our parade.
