Art Show 2022

Saturday, Sept. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 8 during library hours.

Palmyra Community Library, 402 E. Main St., Palmyra, NY.

Artists of all levels are invited to participate. No registration fee.

Categories:

Oil & Acrylic Painting Photography

Watercolor Painting Sculpture (metal, wood, clay, textile, mix)

Mixed Media Fiber & Textiles

Drawing (includes pen, pencil, charcoal, pastel) Picture of Palmyra (all media)

Youth 5 – 12 and 13 - 18: Categories will be displayed together. Note: If desired, youth may enter in an adult category.

• Bring your artwork to the Palmyra Community Library during the following hours:
  Mon., Sept. 19 - Wed., Sept. 21, 10:30 am – 7:00 pm.

• First, second, third place and honorable mention ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded in each category.

• Please have your artwork in a frame and ready to hang using wire going across the back. No tools or hanging supplies will be available. NO EXCEPTIONS will be made. We will NOT accept unframed art unless it is a stretched canvas or 3-D sculpture.

• Tables will be available for 3-D pieces.

• Artists are limited to 2 entries per category.

• The committee reserves the right to refuse works we judge as unsuitable.

• No functional art will be accepted, for example, bed quilts.

• All works must be original. Fine art only.

• Pick up artwork at the library between 10:30 am and 7:00 pm on Mon., Oct. 10 or Tues., Oct. 11.
