Historic Palmyra Museums Open for Canaltown Days

The four incredible museums of Historic Palmyra will be open from 12 to 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday of Canaltown Days.

The Alling Coverlet Museum, at 122 William Street, is featuring a variety of coverlets and quilts on three display floors with a great gift shop of unique woven goods, interesting and educational games, puzzles, books, and area souvenirs.

The Market Street museums, including the Phelps Store and the Historical and Print Shop Museums, will be showing off all their finest for this weekend.    Your trip to Palmyra is not complete without seeing these fine, one of a kind museums.   Stop by for our special discounted Canaltown Days admission: $1 per museum, or $3 trail pass.  Children under 12 are free.

On Friday, September 13th, we will feature ghost walk tours and speaking to the spirits of Palmyra.  Tours are from 8 to 10 p.m. and are $10 per person.  Walk from the Village Park to the museums and hunt at the museums the last hour.  Call for reservations at (315) 597-6981.
